I began playing the piano and writing music at about 6 years old. I have continued playing now for about 30 years, am a concert pianist, and have finished my B.A. in Music, and my M.M. degree in Piano Performance at BYU, as well as a previous degree in Music Composition. I had my piano tuned on a regular basis growing up and thought I might be interested in learning how to do that. As I finished my bachelor’s degree, I started becoming involved with piano technology. My goals are as follows, become an RPT (which I plan in 2 years from now) and continue my education in piano technology. As well, I am making plans, as soon as feasible with the children, to go on to receive a DMA in Piano Performance, which will take about 4-6 years, and try to land a college job teaching, if possible. If not, I will be doing piano technology as a back up. I plan to stay a member of the guild during my life and go to the 37 steps program and the Renner Academy. I also am working on finishing my NCTM (nationally certified teacher of music) through MTNA and will be done as soon as I can find someone who wants to be recorded on tape. I still enjoy writing music and am currently working on improving my sight-reading. I have a YouTube channel as well where I perform live concerts.

Best of all, I have 4 children (currently all 5 and under), a wonderful wife, and I am grateful for her and her incredible support.
